I come from Nigeria, precisely from Anambra State. I was born February 2, 1976. My mission is to preach the gospel through music. Before I arrived in Cameroon, I was informed that my music was doing fine out here as well as in some other parts of Africa. I also hear my music is picking up steam in the US and in Europe. I have been touring some parts of Nigeria. My mission in Cameroon is to free people from their sicknesses. God will touch them and some of them will have salvation. It is said that a man in the US, who has been bed ridden for years, heard my music and became healed. Another man in Bai 68, in Nigeria, won the chairmanship of the local government because of my music. So, lots of people are getting to know me, telephone calls across the country and lots of fan mails coming in through my marketer. Some people confess how God uses my music to bless them. I thank God for what He is using me to do to His people. It is by His grace, not by my own grace.

How do you explain the blockbuster nature in which your music has become in Africa and other parts of the world?
It gives me a lot of pleasure to hear that from you. It is God using me. I do not have much to say. It is the grace of God.

What is music to you?
Music is God’s gift to me to use and preach the gospel in my own way. I did not pray for it. God gave it to me. It is an innate quality of mine. I have also been making efforts elsewhere, especially, in business. But I have come to discover that my destiny is in music. There are also many frustrations and trials in music, but I tell God that I use it to preach the gospel and He is using me.

For how long have you been in music?
Since 1996. Nigerian Praise is my fourth album. The first album entitled Ibo, released 1996, was not very successful. The second, released in 1998, still entitled Ibo and the third, God is King.

In Nigerian Praise, what do you sing about?
I sing praises to God. Praises move God. When you pray to God, He will do what you want Him to do. Like the track He is in
